LE ROY VS MOURINHO 

Claude Le Roy who is the coach of Ghana’s National Team has insisted that Ghana’s entire Players be present for training in the African Cup of Nations in 2008.

 

Mourinho has expressed a desire to talk with Le Roy so that he could hold on to Players who are from Ghana yet continue to play for Chelsea at least until just before the African Cup of Nations.

 

Le Roy has said that there will be no room for compromise since the players must be present for practice for their home country and the tournaments of the home country.

 

Le Roy has a point. If Ghana wants to win the African Cup of Nations, the players must be in their best form. After all, many national teams have their practice sessions at least six to seven weeks. European Clubs as well as players from countries in Africa must take into account the schedule for the African Cup of Nation. After all, European Clubs take into account Euro 2008.
