Feminism like most isms called Republicanism, and Communism are outdated and racist. Feminism talks about Women’s Liberation yet their movement have excluded minorities from their leadership by placing them in servitude roles. Feminism considers itself the saviour of the world yet it does not accept the reality that there may be some women who are content with their lot in life, content with their husband, and children.

When the Feminist Movement tried to enter Afghanistan and Iraq after the invasions of these two countries by the Western Powers, they were repelled not by Ayatollahs bent on declaring jihad but by women who viewed them as another form of Colonialism.

The only ism that is replacing Feminism is Womanisn. One of the proponents of Womanism is Stephania Harris who has a blog about it and lives in Great Britain. Ms. Harris views Feminism as an «outgrowth of Western Imperialism».

I had the privilege of conversing with Ms. Harris via E Mail and she was thrilled with the idea of explaining Womanism VS Feminism.

Womanism according to Ms. Harris has the following definition: «Womanism rejects the colonialism and fascist tendencies of feminism. It’s an indigenous woman’s right movements. So Womanism is rejection of feminist ideology but a belief that supports the rights of women from within the culture that they live. Womanism tends to be egalitarian, whereas feminism isn’t.»

After reading Stephania Harris, I have come to believe the concept of womanism being the logical replacement for an outmoded ideal called feminism.
