Roeder & Norwich City

Glenn Roeder has been appointed the new manager for Norwich City after signing a two year and a half contract. Norwich City is in desperate need for salvation if only to avoid being relegated from the Championship.

Glenn Roeder was born in Woodford, Essex in 1955 and started his football career playing in the Arsenal Youth Camp. As he was unable to earn a scholarship with Arsenal in 1973, he started his professional career with Leyton Orient. His professional career took him to QPR, Notts County, Newcastle United, Watford, and Gillingham. He also played in England B. His total was 31 goals in 561 appearances.

In 1992, he started his Managerial Career with Gillingham, Watford, West Ham United, Newcastle United before arriving at Norwich City.

While Glenn Roeder has a lot to do to save Norwich City, it will take a big effort from Norwich City [the team, the owners, and the supporters] to make this happen. He does have the possibility and the will. He also has my support and best wishes. The same applies to Norwich City.
