The United States Women’s Football Team have brought glory to a sport that was almost ignored by the majority of the elite in America until Mia Hamm and Julie Fouty burst onto the scene and put some kick and women power into soccer in the 1990’s. Since then, the US Women’s Football Team [with few exceptions] have scored big in the media and in the sports themselves with their impressive victories.

Outside of the Sports Arena, The United States Women’s Football Team went to the Demilitarized Zone separating the Two Koreas when Kim Jong Il exploded his nuclear missiles underground in 2006. They went to give inspiration and comfort to the US and other troops based in the Demilitarized Zone and to cool the tense situations within the troops of the Demilitarized Zone. Many of these troops are forever grateful to the US Womens Football Team for this humanitarian gesture.
