While O.J. Simpson is trying to avoid a jail sentence in Las Vegas, the Democrats wanted to avoid a repeat of previous debacles in their debate. The result was a cheap version of the Three Stooges called The Five Stooges and CNN trying to look professional but losing control. I saw this debate in CNN.

It all started when Campbell Brown asked Hillary Clinton about Immigration and she avoided the question by responding in a bureaucratic fashion. [She did not answer the question]. Obama then replied that Clinton was not direct and forthcoming. Both Clinton and Obama started a verbal wrestling match talking about health care but without substance.

Edwards [in his fashion as a lawyer specializing in law suits] made comments with his eyes bulging and some of the veins in his neck dilated that they could be seen. Kucinich said he would not recognize any “Democratic Candidate who did not retire from Iraq” and did not offer any substance. Richardson said “Give Peace A Chance” while Biden stood up and made a total fool of himself.

The Democratic Debate was more exciting to watch than O.J. Simpson and his Sports Memorabilia. But while this is comedy, it lacked substance with the candidates attacking each other while the USA haemorrhages to death.

The Republicans and Democrats have nothing new to offer except for being comic reliefs. The USA does not need comedians, it needs people who are willing to tackle the issues head on.

The Libertarian Party is willing and able to tackle the problems. It is important to remember the following:

1. Withdrawal from all wars and involvement in conflicts. The Middle East has been “burning since the world was turning” [paraphrasing Billy Joel] while South Korea [who was saved by the blood and guts of US Troops] now wants a rapprochement with North Korea.

2. A Return to the Gold and Silver Certificate and the abolition of the Federal Reserve System [The Federal Reserve System functions like a bank that is used to doing dirty deals].

3. Privatization of the Federal Government and Political Parties. They should be run like a private business accountable to their customers.

4. Enforcing the Laws that already exist with regards to immigration, health care, foods, and medications instead of adding 50 layers of laws that deal with the same issue. ALL LAWS MUST BE ENFORCED INSTEAD OF SELECTIVELY.

5. Term Limits for All Politicians since power corrupts absolutely. This should be extended to Supreme Court Judges and ALL JUDGES.

6. Withdrawal from the UN, OAS, WB [World Bank not Warner Brothers], IMF, and other International Organizations that hurt the interests of the USA.

7. Let people be in charge of their education.

8. Separate the State from the lives of the people.

9. A Return to the Basics starting with the Constitution of 1787 which defines the USA as a Federal Republic. At the present time, the Bush Clinton Dynasty is consolidating itself within the Republican/Democratic Party [which in itself is becoming a party for an absolute monarchy dressed like a republic like in Cuba, North Korea, Venezuela, and Zimbabwe].
