There is one club that is in danger of going into administration while another is being saved by a purchase.
Coventry City is in negotiations with Ray Ranson and Sisu Capital to save it. It involves the reality that Coventry City has a debt of 37 M Pound Sterlings and that it could go into administration. If this were to happen, Coventry City may be deducted 10 points in the Football League Championship Table.
It is important that Coventry City, Ranson, and Sisu Capital resolve their differences and the sooner the better. It would be a pity to lose Coventry City or any other football clubs. Maybe Coventry City can learn from the supporters of Scarborough Athletic.
This is not the case in the Ipswich Town which will be taken over by Marcus Evans with Evans receiving an 87.5% interest in the club. Another part of the deal will be the injection of much needed cash and the removal of its debts.
Ipswich Town may have handled its finances with Marcus Evans. The only thing that is needed is that Marcus Evans uses his ownership of Ipswich Town for the good of the club and their supporters. In this I have full confidence. I also hope that Ipswich Town could make a return to the Premier League.
