An Open Letter to the Libertarian Party/Unite Under Phillies

INTRODUCTION

Certain Members of the Libertarian Party «invited» Ron Paul to become a Libertarian Presidential Candidate if he is rejected by the Republican Party. This is an open letter to the world to give testimony of how low the Republicans can go. At the same time, it is a call for all Alternative Parties to Unite in order to end the Republican/Democratic Monopoly on Power.

COMMENTS

I do not know if members of the Libertarian Party or the LNC [Libertarian National Committee] received my E Mail.   After reading the LNC “invitation” for Ron Paul and reading the web pages of all candidates, I do have a proposal based on reason, personal experience, as well as having read history. If the Libertarian Party continues fighting among each other, the Republicans and Democrats will win; the USA will suffer, and may cease to exist.

For those who say it cannot happen, there are people who are rich and have voted with their feet by leaving America. There are others who are advocating peaceful secession from the USA. I do not want to see these two alternatives.  I propose that the Libertarian Candidates put aside their differences and nominate one candidate: George Phillies for President and campaign for him. Phillies Campaign must be brought to the Convention Floor itself and to a vote. The people who work in the grassroots campaign for Phillies must do everything within the framework of the Constitution of the USA and the Libertarian Party [via peaceful means] to make sure that the LNC hears the voice of a unified Libertarian Party.

One of the reasons I support Phillies is that he has great concepts and maybe the last opportunity to save this country from committing suicide. His concept of personal responsibility, reason, less government, and less intervention is a reason that unites all Libertarians. In a three way poll, Phillies would have won 12% of the votes compared with the Democrats and Republicans.

If Ron Paul is considered a winner, why was he rejected outright by the student body during the recent Republican Debates in the University of Miami Florida? I challenge the other candidates and other Libertarians to resolve the problems of the elections and then resolve the problems within the LNC after the 2008 Elections.

I consider a vote for George Phillies as a Vote for Sanity while a Vote for the Republicans and Democrats is a wasted vote that will take the USA down the road to its grave.  I leave with the words: “United We Stand, Divided We Fall”
