BLATTER INSULTS ENGLISH FOOTBALL
FIFA President Sepp Blatter says that he has “never seen a national team with a foreign coach”. Blatter goes further and insults England and English Football with his wild accusations of breaking a “principle of international football”.
If Blatter were not FIFA President, he would have made it as a stand up comedian. It was not enough to pass judgment about “high altitude football”; he has to pass judgment on “principles of international football”.
England is not the first or only country with foreign coaches. Countries such as Egypt, Nigeria, Cameroun, and South Africa have foreign coaches. Berti Vogts [German] was once a coach of the Scottish National Football Team before going to Nigeria.
According to reports from Press TV, Iran is on the verge of choosing Artur Jorge [Portugal] as Coach of their national team.
Bora Milutnovic [Serbia] was coach of the following national teams: Mexico, USA, Honduras, Jamaica, China, Costa Rica and Nigeria.
Blatter has discredited FIFA and International Football with his proposals and statements. It is time for Blatter to retire. The sooner the better.
