Choose Peace!

 

An open letter to Missouri voters from Libertarian Presidential Candidate George Phillies:

There is no more important political choice than peace or war.

The Bush Republican Party chose war, a pointless war with Iraq.  The Republican Party

offers you perpetual war in Iraq and across the Middle East.

In 2006, Americans handed Congress to Democrats, because the Democratic party

promised peace.  The Iraq War continued unimpeded. Democrats don’t keep their

promises.

Do you want peace?  Tuesday, February 5,  you have only one way to send that message to  

 

Washington.

A vote for a Republican candidate is an endorsement of the Republican War Party, the Party

whose leading candidate talks of staying in Iraq for the next half-century.

A vote for a Democratic candidate is an endorsement of the Democratic doormat: On the

War, the Democrats let Bush walk all over them.

Fortunately, this primary day you have a third choice: The Libertarian choice.  We stand for

ending the war.  Immediately.

To choose peace, go to your polling place, and ask for a Libertarian ballot.
