The papers, the radio, and the internet gave the Potomac States of Maryland and Virginia as well as the District of Columbia to Barack Obama. Even the reports from ABC 2 of Maryland showed the projections and Hillary Clinton saw or at least felt that it was inevitable she would lose. Hillary Clinton is currently in Texas, Ohio, and Pennsylvania campaigning. It cannot be denied that the verse of a song composed by Bob Dylan «The Times They Are A Changing» or the verse of a song interpreted by Carlos Santana and Buddy Miles [from their famous 1972 concert in Hawaii] «Them Changes» with the verses of «Oh My Mind Is Going Through Them Changes….» is resonating in an America that is tired of the old politics of the Republicans and Democrats. I would like to personally congratulate Barack Obama in his victories and the fact that he arrived so far. I would also like to congratulate the staff and people at ABC 2 for an excellent report. Even Politisite of the E Magazine Now Public.com deserves congratulations for his reporting on the election process. We are in the process of change but it is a change which can be compared to a glass filled to the half with water [half empty or half full].We are at a crossroads in which a Democratic Candidate for the Presidency of the United States will be chosen either by the Super Delegates [which would favour Hillary Clinton] or the Delegates from each state [except Michigan and Florida which would favour Barack Obama]. The fact that these events are transpiring is also proof that the way elections are conducted need to be changed. The Democratic National Committee which talks about freedom and equality has arbitrarily excluded Florida and Michigan from attending the Democratic National Convention. The Democratic National Committee in its decision to exclude delegates from Michigan and Florida have made it clear that a state’s vote is worth more on the day decided by the National Committee than on the date decided by the States and its population. This smells of dictatorship of the worst kind. The Primaries, The Super Delegates, and The Electoral College should be amended or abolished so that other parties such as the Libertarians or Greens could campaign on equal status. The media should also publicize George Phillies and the Libertarian Party so that maybe George Phillies and The Libertarian Party could receive publicity. The fact that such issues [opening of the political process] are not being addressed adds to the fact that we are having this upset.

       Another factor has been the childish behaviour of the Republican and Democratic candidates in the 2008 Elections. During the Democratic Debates, Obama and Clinton traded insults instead of discussing the issues. The same applied to the Republican Party. At least the Libertarians and Greens were more civilized in their debates. It is these things that are destroying the fabric of American Society and if they are not corrected, could bring civil war [certain elements are carrying around nooses and others are carrying photos of Ernesto «Che» Guevara in offices in Houston Texas]. Another possibility that could happen is dominance from another country. Regardless, [while I would like people voting for George Phillies and The Libertarian Party] the people of America have destiny in their own hands to ask for changes, vote for the same old people, or vote for those within an established party who states that he is «not of the establishment» while taking money from special interest groups. Whatever decision taken in 2008 will affect our future generations so it is necessary to vote for the person who knows what he or she is doing without regard to race, creed, religion, or ethnicity.

              In February 2007, no one imagined that Barack Obama would be in a dead heat against Hillary Clinton. It was a year ago that the Conventional Wisdom held that the United States of America would have a Bush and Clinton Dynasty. After all, 40% of the people of the United States of America have only known Presidents whose last name were Clinton or Bush. Clinton and Bush were part of the Democratic and Republican Machinery that resisted all calls for change by marginalizing the alternative parties [Libertarians and Greens will continue their struggle to enter government through peaceful means], have eliminated internal opposition by marginalization or according to some people by assassinating them. Another thing against Obama was that the machinery said that «He is African American and has little experience». It was like the White Anglo Saxon Republican Machinery was saying that African Americans could not get ahead without the help of the White Anglo Saxon Population. Let us fast forward to February 2008 and we see Obama and Clinton almost in a dead heat for the Democratic Race with the supporters of both camps stating that if the other is nominated, Mc Cain could easily win the Presidency although that in itself is doubtful. It makes for interesting coverage with the US Mainstream Media turning the election into what it is, a farce and a circus leaving many people out. Al Jazeera is giving coverage to the alternative candidates as well as covering the Ron Paul and Barack Obama campaign. In fact, Obama even won in a special election launched by the TV Station Al Jazeera. In a recent poll, Al Jazeera supporters awarded the Presidency to Barack Obama and Second Place to Ron Paul. Everyone else who is the darlings of the US Mainstream Media was next to last or last place. Whether the people like Al Jazeera or Press TV or not, it cannot be denied that they are playing a role in making sure [although not enough] that the Electoral Process is democratized.This is a situation which will continue to play itself as a circus in bad taste unless the people come out and vote Libertarian and George Phillies in massive and large numbers. After all, George Phillies is the only person who can save America from self destructing. Maybe I am dreaming about such a victory especially when the elections are a comic farce but at the current rate, regardless of who wins, America will head for destruction in the same way as the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, and the Roman Empire.

     Iowa started the 2008 Elections by supporting Obama thinking they were supporting Alabama in College Football. Afterwards, the Democratic Party started to appear like a wrestling match between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama with their spouses being the managers of a boxing match instead of an election. Recently, Obama proved that he could win Maine, Kansas, Washington, and Louisiana with his new hit called «Change». I saw the hit on You Tube and he is singing «Change» with the background music of the song [written and recorded by Michael Jackson] called «YouCan’t Get out Of the Rain». Obama even dedicated the song to the Clintons.On the other hand, Hillary Clinton came out with her version of the song «Respect» accompanied by the Washington New York Chorus composed of Condoleeza Rice, Ann Coulter, Nancy Pelosi [who was reading the latest on botox treatment], and Chelsea Clinton. There is also a new group called «The Bushes and The Kennedys» who have dedicated themselves to sing with Arnold Schwarzneggar «California Dreaming» and the Mungo Jerry hit «In the Summer Time» to the tune of burps and farts. The Republicans on the other hand have been practicing the fine art of dirty politics after dirtying their hands in oil. After all, the Republicans forgot about what they learned from Reagan and concentrated on learning from Eisenhower and Ford. The result is dirty politics and applying the politics of the twentieth century to the twenty first century. Mc Cain is clueless on what is happening in America but wins the primaries, Huckabee claims that Washington was stolen from him only to receive the warning «Good Things Come to Those That Wait but Not Those Who Wait Too Late», and Romney withdraws. Ron Paul makes the mistake of thinking that he would have aa better chance of becoming President but the US Mainstream Media does not pay attention to him. Ron Paul asks for publicity from FOX, CBS, NBC, ABC, MSNBC, and CNN and the response is that the personalities from those stations are busy applying make up and painting their toenails for the next part of this comic soap opera that excludes anyone who is not a Republican and Democrat. Ron Paul need not be depressed since a recent poll from Al Jazeera states that if Al Jazeera Supporters were the US Electorate, he or Barack Obama would easily win the White House without the joke called the Primaries and Electoral College.I look at this mess and I say as always, I support George Phillies and the Libertarians since they are the only serious candidates in this election.        The USA Elections have been the election of whether there will be a «Female» President, an «African American» President, or until recently a «Mormon» President. The Comments about race, gender, and ethnicity are signs of a weakness of what is an «American» Identity since the USA is an artificial and insecure country. I can say that since I was born and raised in America. I consider that the vote should not be based on gender, religion, race, and ethnicity. The vote should be based on a change that neither the Republicans nor Democrats can resolve. In fact, sex, race, and ethnicity is irrelevant as one of the candidates Cynthia Mc Kinney is a woman and African American who belongs to the Green Party.The USA has to face issues such as the homeless situation, the financial situation, and the political issues. The USA has to face the fact and reality of an opening of its political institutions with the abolition of the primaries and the Electoral College. The USA has to face the fact that there are other political parties such as the Libertarians and Greens are not addressed in the US Mainstream Media, are marginalized by the US Mainstream Media, and by the supporters of the Republicans and Democrats. I can no longer stand back and cross my arms while the Republicans and Democrats destroy America with a continuation of their bankrupt policies. I have been condemned by people who vote Republican and Democrat. I have been told many times to vote Republican or Democrat and both have told me I benefitted from their policies. I benefitted from my own work and my own efforts without regard to race, creed, colour, and ethnicity.I am voting on the basis of the fact that the Republicans and Democrats bankrupted the United States of America. I am voting for a true American whose name is George Phillies who has addressed the issues facing the USA such as Health Care, Immigration, Insurance, the Infrastructure, and the need to reevaluate the membership of the USA in the United Nations, the International Monetary Fund, and the World Bank. I am voting for George Phillies and the Libertarian Party since George Phillies and the Libertarian Party have a logical response to the demagogues. Whether my candidate wins or not; I could care less, this is for the long haul because I cannot stand the demagogues who govern America and invent foolish concepts to hide the fact that the election and the candidates [regardless of race, creed, ethnicity, and sex] is a total farce.
