Goodbye Zack Thomas

I heard in the local news [CBS 4 in Miami Florida] about Zack Thomas being released from his contract with the Miami Dolphins. It appears that Bill Parcells and company are making good on their promise on making changes. Last night, they decided that Zack Thomas was not included in their plans.

Zack Thomas was a great linebacker for the Miami Dolphins who managed to include seven Pro Bowl Games in his twelve year career with the Dolphins. It is a pity that Zack Thomas has to go. It is also a pity that even though he did not play most of the last season which was dismal, he has to pay the price for the errors of others.
For the people who ask the question why Zack Thomas did not play most of the 2007 Miami Dolphin Season which resulted in only one win for the Dolphins, the reason is simple. Zack Thomas was injured in the beginning of the season and suffered a concussion as a result.
As I am writing, Zack Thomas is being sought by the Dallas Cowboys and the New England Patriots. Zack Thomas has already stated that he is interested in playing American Football but wants to remain in Miami Florida and that his house is not for sale.
The rumours of Zack Thomas being sought by the Dallas Cowboys and the New England Patriots have yet to be confirmed. Either I will see if they are true or the readers  could confirm or deny the rumours.

Regardless, when a change occurs; people are either part of the change or the stumbling block and the way Sports in America functions [and in many places of the world], the person leaves, is sacked, or remains. Bill Parcells arrived at Miami to accomplish a mission. His mission in my opinion is to restore the Miami Dolphins to their former glory or at least attempt it like he did with teams such as the Dallas Cowboys, New England Patriots, and the New York Jets.
I would like to wish Zack Thomas the best wherever he goes and there is the feeling that the world has not seen the last of Zack Thomas. I also want to take advantage and wish Bill Parcells the best in his attempt to transform the Miami Dolphins and liberate it from the errors of the past such as the mismanagement of Jimmy Johnson, Wanstedt, and Cameron.
