When one is talking about Jenny Rivera, the words associated with her is Queen of Banda Music. She has earned her crown in her own right even though she has come from a musical family. What I also like about Jenni Rivera is that being born and raised in the United States of America does not mean giving up on one’s own culture or origin. Jenny Rivera deserves my praise for being a US Latin who has been able to succeed in the Spanish Speaking World, the English Speaking World, and beyond. Jenni Rivera also deserves praise for being able to defend her daughters against the abuse of her ex husband. Jenni Rivera also deserves praise for her love of the United States and Mexico while those who say they love the USA have colaborated with the enemy.Jenni Rivera was born and raised in Long Beach, California in the year 1969. Before she started her singing career in 1999, she studied Business Administration and obtained a degree in Real Estate. Her business experience helped her father and her brother with their singing career in the business section but she still wanted to do more. It was then that she decided to add a singing career to her resume. It was something that the world has not regretted.
Jenni Rivera has been able to build her career with such hits as «Amiga Si Lo Ves» [Friend If You See Him],»Querida Socia» [Dear Countrywomen], «Las Malandrinas» [Traditional Music], «Se Las Voy A Dar A Otro» [I am Going To Tell Another Man], «Reina De Reinas» [Queen of Queens], and «Chicana Jalisciense» [US Born Jaliscan] which dealt with the life and times of the Latin Woman in the United States of America including those born in this country.
Jenni Rivera has been the recipient of many awards including the Gold and Platinum Awards from RIAA Latin for her album «Mi Vida Loca» [My Crazy Life] which includes her version of the Gloria Gaynor Classic called «I Will Survive». Other songs in «Mi Vida Loca» included: «Déjame Vivir» [Let Me Live], “Inolvidable” [Unforgettable], “Hermano Amigo” [Brother, Friend], “Mírame” [Look At Me], “Ahora Que Estuviste Lejos” [Now You Were Far], “Dama Divina” [Divine Lady], “Sin Capitán” [No Captain], “Cuanto Te Debo?” [How Much Do I Owe You], “Déjame Vivir” [Let Me Live], “Donde Quedó El Amor?” [Where Did The Love Go?]. Indeed she has survived and at the present time according to Univision News, she is on her way to Orlando Florida to record with Olga Ta~non. All I can say is that I wish her the best in her endeavors.
Queria hablar de una artista que es la Reina de la Musica Mexicana en los Estados Unidos. La Reina de la Musica Mexicana en Estados Unidos llego extender su reino hacia los cuatro lugares del mundo. Quien es la Reina de la Musica Mexicana en los Estados Unidos? Nada mas y nada menos que Jenni Rivera. Jenni Rivera nacio en Long Beach California en 1969 de padres mexicanos. El Hermano de Jenni Rivera es el cantante Lupillo Rivera y casi toda la familia Rivera son artistas.
Jenni Rivera estudio Bienes Raices y Negocios en su juventud y comenzo su carrera artistica depsues de graduarse de la Universidad. Los temas de Jenni Rivera como «Amiga Si Lo Ves» ,»Querida Socia», «Las Malandrinas», «Se Las Voy A Dar A Otro», «Reina De Reinas», y «Chicana Jalisciense» se trataba de las luchas de las mujeres latinas en especial las latinas nacidas y criadas en los Estados Unidos contra los obstaculos de la sociedad imperante en los Estados Unidos.
El album de Jenny Rivera “ Mi Vida Loca” con su interpretacion del himno universal “I Will Survive” [Sobrevivire] y temas como «Déjame Vivir», “Inolvidable”, “Hermano Amigo”, “Mírame”, “Ahora Que Estuviste Lejos”, “Dama Divina”, “Sin Capitán”, “Cuanto Te Debo?”, y “Déjame Vivir”, “Donde Quedó El Amor?” gano los Premios Oro y Plata de RIAA Latino.
Jenni Rivera tiene mi respeto y admiracion como artista, como compay [soy un Latino nacido en Estados Unidos], y como persona. Jamas olvidare sus intentos en lograr la justicia para sus criaturas despues de un evento disagradable. Jenni Rivera mostro su amor hacia los Estados Unidos despues de los eventos del Once de Septiembre en el 2001 ayudando a los familiares de victimas, y portando camisetas de apoyo hacia los Estados Unidos a pesar de la propaganda de odio de la clase gobernante de los Estados Unidos.
Para aquellos que son patriotas, Jenni Rivera mostro su amor hacia los Estados Unidos y Mexico mientras que la mayoria locutores y intelectuales Anglo-Sajones Americanos mostraron su apoyo a las organizaciones terroristas del momento. Por eso y mucho mas, Jenni Rivera merece un articulo en mi revista electronica.
