Matt Frei added some interesting comments. I was born and raised in Ohio. I lived
there until the 1970’s only to return for college and visits in 1980-1981. Ohio [or the
majority] suffered from the concept of «Prosperity Forever, Why Prepare for the
Future?» What happened was that the people of Ohio did not want to prepare for a
competitive future. The Governors of Ohio also applied restrictions on
professionals. No wander people and jobs left. Lesson to be learned: Be Prepared
Always.
