CHIVAS EN LA VICTORIAHe tenido el honor de ver mediante Telefutura la cadena hermana de Univision el partido de la Liga Mexicana entre Chivas de Guadalajara y Toluca. El 8 de Marzo de 2008 en la Ciudad de Guadalajara en el Estado de Jalisco en Mexico, Chivas de Guadalajara enfrento a Toluca con resultados favorable a Chivas debido a la anotacion de Sergio Santana. El pueblo de Guadalajara mostro su euforia mediante aplausos, gritos, y silbatos. Chivas de Guadalajara tuvo suerte en el juego debido al descuido de Toluca en la cancha. La primera mitad comenzo con el dominio total de Chivas con la fuerza de Sergio Santana goleando el primer y unico gol del juego a los 32:00 Minutos. Despues de los 32:00 Minutos, parece que hubo debilidad en ambos equipos con el agotamiento.
La llegada de la segunda temporada fue una lucha agotadora entre Chivas de Guadalajara y Toluca. No se podia definir quien tenia posesion del juego y no hubo resolucion con los dos equipos sustituyendo sus jugadores. A pesar de todo y los intentos de Toluca en empatar el juego, Chivas logro imponerse y poser de Nuevo el juego para obtener la victoria. Considero que Chivas logro defenderse y jugar un futbol nitido y perfeccionista. Mis felicidades a Chivas.

I was able to see the football [soccer] match of the Mexican League between Chivas of Guadalajara and Toluca. The game between Chivas of Guadalajara and Toluca was broadcast on Telefutura [the sister station of Univision TV] live from Guadalajara in Jalisco State in Mexico on the 8th of March in 2008.The game was off to a good start with Chivas of Guadalajara in possession of the first half with Toluca’s defences decreasing. The climax of the first half was reached at thirty two minutes with the first and only goal by Sergio Santana for Chivas of Guadalajara with the people in the stadium screaming, whistling, and applauding their approval. Unfortunately, Chivas of Guadalajara decided to rest on its laurels and Toluca started attempting equalizers without success. It appeared that both teams were fighting for possession in the last half of the first half all the way to the second half. The attempts of both teams to resolve the impasse via substitutions resulted in failure.
It appeared that there was a sense of fatigue on both teams. Afterwards, Chivas of Guadalajara was able to recover and with Sergio Santana, they managed to hold on to their lead and the possession of the game. Chivas of Guadalajara was giving the public what it wanted which was an active and clean game. At the end, Chivas of Guadalajara defeated Toluca in order to maintain its winning streak and its classification in the Mexican League Tables. Chivas of Guadalajara was able to maintain its lead and its advantage by discipline, fortitude, and remaining focused on playing football [soccer]. Chivas of Guadalajara was able to maintain its adavantage by discipline. Toluca on the other hand was unable to maintain a defensive position, did not have the discipline, and fortitude to score an equalizer. Toluca was also not focused. It appeared that Toluca had its sights on other things not related to the game and this is not good for any team.
