Terry Bradshaw

When people talk about Terry Bradshaw, what comes to mind is the NFL, The Pittsburgh Steelers, and the FOX Sports News Channel discussing football with the likes of Jimmie Johnson. Terry Bradshaw was born in Louisiana and graduated from Louisiana Tech. It was in 1970, that the history of Terry Bradshaw with the Pittsburgh Steelers began with his selection as a first round draft pick. Terry Bradshaw was able to lead the Pittsburgh Steelers to an impressive four titles in the Super Bowl and eight AFC Central Championships. Terry Bradshaw was one of the best quarterbacks of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Terry Bradshaw had an impressive record in his career, such as nine hundred thirty two yards with nine touchdowns within four Super Bowl Games. He was able to complete two hundred and sixty one passes with three thousand eight hundred and thirty three yards within nineteen postseason games. Terry Bradshaw was able to complete two thousand and twenty five out of three thousand nine hundred and one passes in order to obtain twenty seven thousand nine hundred and eighty nine yards and two hundred and twelve touchdowns during his years with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Terry Bradshaw also rushed four hundred and four times for two thousand two hundred and fifty seven yards to make thirty two touchdowns to close his time with the Steelers.

Terry Bradshaw was also named by the Associated Press as the Most Valuable Player in the NFL, All Pro and All AFC Player in 1978. He also participated in three Pro Bowl Games. All of this during his time with the Pittsburgh Steelers between 1970 to 1983 that he has participated in helping the local community that has given him so much. Terry Bradshaw was one of the first football players who also experimented with other professions. I remember seeing him in the 1981 Comedy called «Cannonball Run» with other stars such as Burt Reynolds, Dom De Luise, Dean Martin, Mel Tillis, Jackie Chan, Roger Moore and Sammy Davis Jr. In my opinion, he was one of the few football players that successfully made the transition to show business and the media. It was his experience in the film “Cannonball Run” that prepared him for the future as a sports commentator.

After the movie «Cannonball Run» and his release from the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1983, He went to work with ESPN and other stations reporting about football before finally landing a job as a commentator about football in FOX Sports News. He is currently the co host and of the chief analyst of FOX NFL Sunday during the American Football Season. His comments at FOX Sports News are thought provoking as he takes the listener on a tour inside the minds of the people who plan the strategy in a football game. He was also one of the few sports announcers who did not make any predictions about who would win the Super Bowl 2008 between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots or at least I did not hear it. Terry Bradshaw is one of the few people who knows that football is a sport that defies predictions. There are no predicted winners or losers just simply the winner and the loser after the game.
