Radio Netherlands [the Radio Station that transmit via Shortwave and Internet] has a programme called “The State We’re In”. In this programme, there was a segment to nominate a Super Hero. The following were my nominations.
I would like to nominate for Super Citizen the Cuban American Singer from New Jersey called Maria Lourdes. Maria Lourdes did a concert in the beginning of 2008 in order to raise funds for the treatment of Ms. Zunnette Rodriguez. When Ms. Zunnette Rodriguez was born, oxygen did not arrive at her brain and she became paralyzed and unable to talk. Her Concert «Enlightening a Heart» raised much needed funds for Zunnette Rodriguez’ Treatment.
Another Super Citizen I would like to nominate is Teresa Baugh, DDS for her work as a Dentist who cares for her patients and make sures that they receive the best treatment. She has also contributed to the enrichment of her community in Newark New Jersey and the world.
The Last Super Citizen I nominate would be Juanes, the Colombian Rock Musician, Singer, and Composer for his Concert at the Border between Colombia and Venezuela. He has done more for Colombia in promoting peace and harmony. He has also helped people who were unable to help themselves.
