According to the Zimbabwean, ZEC [Zimbabwean Electoral Commission] has received instructions to delay the results of the Presidential Elections for another two weeks with the run off election to be on the 26th of May 2008. In the plan, Dr. Gideon Gono [Governor of the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe] will release funds to boost the ZANU-PF Mugabe votes. In this plan, teachers will be used [via pay raises] to lend their support to the Mugabe ZANU-PF apparatus and will be dumped after the run off election. The attempt to divide and conquer as well as bribe to remain in power has been recognized as a Mugabe ZANU-PF Strategy. It is hope that it is not too late. ANC Leader Jacob Zuma refused the role of mediator but said that the Presidential Election Results must be released immediately.
Meanwhile, before Mugabe addressed the nation on Independence Day 2008, police went from house to house in the poverty stricken suburbs of Harare and assualted the residents of the house. Afterwards, Mugabe gave his Independence Day Speech in which he accused the West of planning to destabilize him.
