MDC Candidate for President of Zimbabwe Morgan Tsvangerai met for thirty minutes with the Secretary General of the UN Ban Ki-Moon during a UN Conference in Accra, Ghana. This meeting took place as a side to the UN Conference on Trade and Development. The subject was Zimbabwe. Mr. Tsvangerai has appealed to the UN [United Nations] to intervene while Mr. Ban Ki-Moon has announced that Zimbabwe will be part of the discussion table during the UN Conference which is taking place between the 20th of April 2008 to the 25th of April 2008. It still remains to be seen what will transpire. It is important that the Election Impasse created by the refusal of the Mugabe Government to release the results of the Presidential Election in Zimbabwe be resolved as soon as possible.

Foreign Minister of Great Britain; David Miliband has accused Mugabe of trying to steal the elections in spite of «60% of the people voting against him». He also continued to accuse Mugabe of making Zimbabwe «A Charade of Democracy». Mr. Miliband also heaped praise on the South African Dock Workers for refusing to unload a Chinese Cargo Ship. I personally would like to thank Mozambique for refusing to unload the ship with its arm cargo. Mr. Miliband also promises help for Zimbabwe when conditions in Zimbabwe improve to the point that «Zimbabwe can rejoin the International Community».
The BBC has also uncovered evidence of ZANU-PF attacks against MDC Supporters from footage filmed in Zimbabwe and smuggled via South Africa.
