For the Liberty and Democracy Party in Australia

After reading the article by Sukrit Sabhlok at Helium and visiting the web page of the Liberty and Democracy Party of Australia, I have decided to write about the emergence of a Libertarian Party in Australia. It is also refreshing that the Liberty and Democracy Party represents the same Libertarian Principles as espoused by the Libertarian Party in the United States and Movimiento Libertario in Costa Rica. While the Liberty and Democracy Party has grown since its inception in 2001, it would have to begin an education campaign about what is a Libertarian and the difference between a Libertarian and the rest of the Non Libertarians. Another thing has happened which is the concept of a Free State Project. The Free State Project was started in the United States of America by a group of Libertarians who wanted to be the founders of a new type of society within the laws governing America but at the same time espousing Libertarian Beliefs. First and foremost, the founders of the Free State Project had to decide which state would best fit the inauguration of such a noble project. The two states in contention were Wyoming and New Hampshire. The reason was that Wyoming and New Hampshire were the closest thing to a Libertarian Society. Regardless, New Hampshire won and the Free State Project invited those who wanted to participate and sign up to live in New Hampshire when the time came. Many people signed and there were Libertarians who were moving into New Hampshire in order to participate in the Free State Project. In fact, there was one person from England [in Great Britain] who participated and decided to move from England to New Hampshire. I can only imagine right now that he is a naturalized citizen of the United States of America. The Free State Project was also separated from the Libertarian Party as a project designed by members of the Libertarian Party in the United States of America of their own volition. It should also serve as a reminder that the Libertarian Party was founded in 1972 and is gradually growing at the present moment as the citizens of the United States of America find out that the Republican and Democratic Party have lost contact in all spheres with them. For those who are from Australia and belong to the Liberty and Democracy Party, what was mentioned was the experience of the Free State Project and the Libertarian Party in the United States of America. The Australians who are members of the Liberty and Democracy Party would be advised to read this article and visit the websites of the Free State Project and the Libertarian Party of the United States of America for further information. The Australians who belong to the Liberty and Democracy Party should [after reading carefully the information] start modeling their party and their Free State Project based on the realities of Australia since every country [even ones that share the same language] have their own set of realities. The only thing I can say is that I wish the Australians who belong to the Liberty and Democracy Party the best in their endeavors.
