Angus Shaw of the Associated Press reported in Harare, Zimbabwe; Deputy Information Minister Bright Matonga announced that the MDC [Tsvangarai] won with 47% with ZANU-PF [Mugabe] in second place with 43%. Mr. Matonga also announced that there will be a run off. Tsvangerai announced that he will not take part in the run off by saying: «If Robert Mugabe cannot accept the real results now, what’s the guarantee that he will accept the real results after the runoff?»
