According to the latest news about Manchester City by BBC Sports Reporter Phil Mc Nulty, there has been contact between the representatives of Manchester City Owner Thaksin Shinawatra and Luis Felipe Scolari with the intention of Scolari replacing the popular Eriksson as manager. What has been transpiring is that Thaksin Shinawatra wants an immediate answer from Scolari to accept his offer as manager and is willing to pay 3.2 Million Pound Sterlings a year. Scolari has been studying the offer with his representatives but has reservations about leaving Portugal because of his family. Scolari also has commitments with the Portuguese National Team during Euro 2008. Regardless, Thaksin Shinawatra thinks he is the Prime Minister of Manchester City who could convince an already skeptical club that he could hire Scolari. Manchester City is currently in ninth place with fifty five points. Thaksin Shinawatra was extremely happy in the first half of Manchester City’s season and was in contact with Sven Goren Eriksson. During the second season, Thaksin Shinawatra did not have contact with Sven Goren Eriksson. After a loss to Fulham, Thaksin Shinawatra had the nerve to tell Sven Goren Eriksson that he “was not the right man for the job [as manager of Manchester City]. I believe that Thaksin Shinawatra is not a fit and proper person to be owner of any club in the Premier League or any other league.

Mr. Luis Felipe Scolari, Thaksin Shinawatra is a person who does not believe in country and does not have any principles or morals. Thaksin Shinawatra is the person who has treated Manchester City Football Club like if it were his personal property to use it, abuse it, remove all of the energy from it, and then discard it. Is this the type of person you want to work for? When a person wants an immediate answer and does not want to give you time to discuss with family and friends before making a decision is not honest.
