At the present time, I am listening to CRI English and enjoying the Special Olympic Coverage. I have compared the Olympic Coverage of CRI and CCTV and is superior to the coverage that exists in the Western Media especially NBC. CRI and CCTV have been covering what is essentially the sports section. In fact, the interview of one of the members of the US Basketball Olympic Team by the staff of CRI English has been one that has a professional demeanor in which the person interviewed is treated with the respect that he or she deserves. The Music that is also utilized in the special coverage of the Beijing Olympics have verses based on Love, Mutual Respect, Friendship, and Family. I am very impressed by the CRI English Staff. CRI English as well as CCTV have been objective in their coverage of the Beijing Olympics 2008.

For those who want to use cheap comments to disparage the coverage of the Beijing Olympics by saying: «They are the host». I have seen and heard the coverage of the Beijing Olympics 2008 by other stations such as NBC and they are mediorce. In fact, the US Mainstream Media did not do an excellent coverage of the Atlanta Olympics held in the USA. The only great coverage that the US Mainstream Media has done with Olympics held in the USA has been the Los Angeles Olympics in 1984.

It is for this reason that CRI English and CCTV deserve A Gold Medal when it comes to Media Coverage of the Beijing Olympics and other news stories.
