The Soccer Match between the San Jose Earthquakes and the FC Dallas was filled with a lot of excitement in the second half after a lackluster first half. The San Jose Earthquakes played the FC Dallas at Pizza Hut Park at Frisco, Texas on October 2, 2008.
The Game got off to a tense start as both teams battled for supremacy and attempted goals until Ryan Johnson scored the first goal of the game assisted by Jason Hernandez at 58 minutes. This gave the San Jose Earthquakes a one point advantage with FC Dallas battling for an equalizer and or a win. In the process, Ned Grabavoy received a caution for dissent followed by Jeff Cunningham for delaying a restart, Duilio Davino for Handball, and Darren Huckerby for Handball. Personally, I wonder how did Davino and Huckerby get a caution for Handball while Maradona was able to get away with a Handball over twenty years ago.
The star of the moment was Kenny Cooper for his last minute equalizer for the FC Dallas. Kenny Cooper deserves praise for his equalizer and for placing FC Dallas in the contention for the MLS Playoffs. It remains to be seen whether this could happen.
