According to reports from Xinhua and CRI English, the 1^st World Minds Sports Game was

inaugurated in Beijing, the People’s Republic of China.  The following games are available at the World Mind Games such as Chess, Bridge, Go, Draught, and Xiangqi. In one of the championship tournaments, Kosteniuk Alexandra of Russia defeated Stefnova Antoaneva of Bulgaria in order to win the first Gold Medal of the Game. I would like to extend my congratulations to Kosteniuk Alexandra and Russia for the First Gold Medal.
