The Miami Dolphins played the Houston Texans and lost by one point after a heavily contested game, which saw both teams battling for a win. The Dolphins’ defeat came after their two straight victories over the Patriots and Chargers.
Never have I seen a game in which the Dolphins have played this poorly and inconsistently. They had a disorganized defense which did not stop the Texans, and Jacoby Jones was able to push through the Dolphins to score a touchdown.
On the other hand, the Texans were able to take advantage of the weak defense to score touchdowns and advance the field with defensive end Mario Williams pressuring quarterback Chad Pennington with a forced fumble and two sacks.
Miami had better get their act together and review their victories against the Patriots and Chargers since their next game is against the Baltimore Ravens.
I have a word of advice for the Dolphins. The Ravens may have lost their latest game against the Indianapolis Colts. They may have lost to Pittsburgh and Tennessee, but they won their games against the Ohio teams of Cincinnati and Cleveland.
It would be a mistake to underestimate the Baltimore Ravens. It should be remembered that in sports, nothing is written in stone.
The Texans may have won this round, but they lost their previous games to Pittsburgh, Tennessee, Jacksonville, and Indianapolis. The next game for Houston will be against Detroit.
I hope the Miami Dolphins will brush off this loss to Houston and win one against Baltimore.
