I would like to start with Karina Mora for her talent and for being one of the few artists in our time who is down to earth. Karina Mora is also multifaceted having acted in theater, television, and musicals. Karina Mora was born in Merida Yucatan Mexico on the 17th of November 1980. Since her early days, she began to show talent as an actress by excelling in Ballet, Jazz, Regional Dances as well as Piano and Guitar. Karina Mora also trained at the Televisa Artistic Education Center, the Character Creation Workshop, Stand Up Workshop, and Acting Workshop where she excelled in her chosen field.
Karina Mora started her meteoric rise to being one of the top ten TV Actresses of all times by winning the title of Miss Campeche and Miss Mexico International in the late 1990’s. The Miss International Contest in which she represented Mexico was held in Japan and brought her to the attention of the world.
It was only the beginning as Karina Mora worked in various mediums such as Theater, Television, Commercials, Videos, and Musicals. She starred in the Musicals which paid homage to the Beatles and Bob Fosse as well as the «Mid Summers Night Dream». She also starred in TV Commercials for Samsung, Viana, and Telmex. I think that while I was in China that I saw her in one of the Samsung Commercials and she did great.
Karina Mora also did videos such as «La Leyenda de Malverde» [The Legend of Malverde], «Tabledance Antropologas» [Anthology of Table Dance], and «Signo Vitales» [Vital Signs]. Her work in theatre consisted in «La Mujer No Hace Milagro» [The Woman does not Make Miracles] as Victoria, «Parece Mentira» [It Seems Like A Lie], «Cita Con La Muerte» [A Date With Death], «Gente Abusurda Singular» [Absurd People in the Singular] as Eva, ‘El Luto Le Siente A Electra» [Mourning Affects Electra] as Cristina, and «Las Muchas Muertes de Danny R» [The Many Deaths of Danny R] as Rowena.
Her biggest roles have been in television with soap operas such as Matilde in «Marina», Maria Magdalena in «Gitanas» [Gypsies], Corazon Partido [Split Hearts], Lizania in «Heridas del Amor» [Hurts from Love], Acafest, Pepsi Charts, «Vivir Sin Ti» [Living Without You», and «Las Vias del Amor» [The Ways of Love], and «Vivir Por Ti» [Living For You]. She has appeared in Televisa, Telemundo, and Radio Nederlands.
The appearance of Karina Mora in the Soap Opera «La Incomprendida» [The Misunderstood Lady] for Radio Nederlands and which the writer heard on shortwave radio further cemeted her position as an international star. It is with pride that she deserves all of the praise in the area of entertainment.
