At a time when it appears that tyranny has taken hold in the American Continent [under the Republicans, Democrats, and 21st Century Communist/Socialists] and elsewhere, Moldovan Students are protesting against their Communist Rulers.
The story is also being monitored from shortwave reception broadcasts from Radio Romania International and Moldovan Radio. The protests have ocurred after the Communists won 50% of the vote in the Presidential Elections but not enough seats in Parliament to secure a majority.
The students believe that the results are fraudulent and have invaded the parliament building. During their invasion of the parliament, windows have been smashed with furniture being thrown out of the building and burned. The members of the opposition parties have been protesting with the students in the capital Chisinau.
At the present time, I can only confirm what the BBC said in that now Moldovan Radio is playing traditional music after giving the news briefly via shortwave radio. There will be an attempt to contact the parties involved and there will be an update.
Meanwhile, as soon as more news comes from Radio Romania International and other media there will be information.
