Mexico To Stop Non Essential Activity Due To Swine Flu

According to the Associated Press and WSVN 7 in Miami Florida, the Mexican Government is considering a stop of all non essential activities by the country’s government and private sector. The purpose is to contain the Swine Flu Epidemic in that country.

This is in response to the elevation to Phase 5 and almost 170 deaths. Jose Cordova who is the Minister of Health for Mexico made the announcement. During this shut down, there will be measures that will be evaluated to see if the threat subsides.
