After the report of Swine Flu in Orlando, Florida has been discarded as speculation, WSVN 7 has reported that Miami-Dade Health Officials have been evaluating the possibility of the disease in the area.
This occurred after an employee at Miami International Airport exhibited signs and symptoms related to Swine Flu. Officials at the Airport have asked employees to use preventive measures and to be vigilant just in case.
The Employee has been tested for possible swine flu and the results have been sent to the CDC for confirmation. South Florida appears to be in the pending state when ot comes to waiting for this result.
The underwriter will be monitoring the situation and will give a report when and if Swine Flu has arrived in South Florida.
