Mortal Sin and a Demonstration as a Response to Father Alberto Cutie

While buying bread and coffee for my family, I saw a group of artists promoting their latest play called «Pecado Mortal» or «Mortal Sin». It is about a love triangle between a priest, a 17 year old girl, and a gang member.

While the people who are promoting this play deny any relationship with the Father Alberto Cutie scandal, many people wander if the scandal was staged to promote the play.

Regardless, there are people who demonstrated their support for Father Alberto Cutie in front of his church in Miami Beach.

The demonstration was peaceful until there was a confrontation between Cuban American Radio Personality and one time Candidate for Mayor Of Miami Enrique Santos and a 70ish year old person called Jose Soler Soler who was opposed to Father Alberto Cutie

Jose Soler said «I am a sinner but at least I am not a priest». Jose Soler and Enrique Santos who is forty years younger than Soler started fighting each other during the demonstration. Soler complained about a «lack of democracy».

Many of the demonstrators talked about the need for the Catholic Church to change and stating that Father Cutie has done a lot for the Catholic Church in Florida.

There are some other news that has Father Alberto Cutie converting to the Anglican Episcopalian Church. Whether this is true or not, the story continues.
