Father Alberto Cutie celebrated his first mass with the Episcopalian Church. The mass was the first since the scandal that resulted in his dismissal from his duties as a Catholic Priest in St. Francis of Sales in Miami Beach, the Miami Herald, and numerous radio and television programmes within the Catholic Church.
He was accompanied by his fiancé Ruhamma Cannelis at his new church called the Church of The Resurrection. He was warmly received by his parishioners and stated that the «Spirit of God has been good» to him. In his sermon, he further revealed that he contemplated changing churches for a long time.
Cutie is now undergoing studies in which he will be certified as a priest within the Episcopalian Church. In other news, the Archdiocese of Miami has announced that it will close 14 parishes
