Introduction:

When it appears that the soap opera scandal of Father Alberto Cutie and Ruhamma Cannelis was going to end in a fairy tale wedding, the soap opera takes a nasty turn with the involvement of an Ex Police Officer, a lawsuit, an Indonesian National who is an illegal alien, a lawyer sending a letter to the press telling them to stop reporting.

The underwriter attempted to send a voice mail of the news until further details could be obtained in order to write the complete story. It is becoming increasingly difficult to report on the Alberto Cutie and Ruhamma Cannelis story for many journalists in Miami Florida. In fact, harassment of certain members of the press has been the order of the day.

Scandal Turns Nasty:

Maxi Ratunuman who is an Indonesian National has initiated a lawsuit against Alberto Cutie, Ruhamma Cannelis, and the Captain of the Biscayne Park Police whose name is Antonio Sanchez. The reason for the lawsuit is a conspiracy to expel him from the country so that no one will know «the truth».

Before getting to the «truth», it is better to discuss the case of Mr. Ratunuman and Mr. Sanchez.

Mr. Ratunuman was arrested in Biscayne Park for illegal entry of a house and driving with a suspended license as well as illegal entry into the USA. The charges [except for illegal entry]were denied by his lawyer Robin Hallman. Mr. Ratunuman is currently in jail pending deportation.

America Teve which is another US Latin TV Station revealed that the Captain of the Biscayne Park Police Antonio Sanchez was once removed from the Sweetwater Police Department for «conduct unbecoming of a police officer».

America Teve then revealed several documents pertaining to the behavior of Mr. Sanchez as published by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

The US Latin TV Station WGEN interviewed Mr. Ratunuman in order to obtain his side of the story. He agreed to be interviewed only if his face was covered since he was «afraid of reprisals because of his status in the USA». 

Mr. Ratunuman revealed in an interview with WGEN TV [under condition that his face is covered], that he was the boy friend of Ruhamma Cannelis until he «found her in bed with Alberto Cutie». He further warned [before initiating his lawsuit] that «Ruhamma Cannelis is the type of woman who plays around with members of the opposite sex in order to get what she wants».

Mr. Ratunuman further revealed that Alberto Cutie and Antonio Sanchez «conspired to have him arrested». He further stated that «Alberto Cutie bought a hosue with the hope of marrying her and having a family».  

The interview which was broadcast by WGEN TV generated a response from a lawyer whose name is Collette Pappas. In the letter, Ms. Pappas told WGEN-TV to stop broadcasting news that defames her client. The response of WGEN-TV was that they were not giving an opinion but informing the people of the news.

During the program «Derechos Reservados» [Copyright] hosted by Graciela Mori and the rest of the panelists in the programme. One of the panelists stated that he «did not leave Cuba to have this form of censorship forced on him or other journalists». 

The panelist proceeded to rip the letter from Ms. Pappas in front of the cameras in the same vein that Martin Luther burned the Papal Bull excommunicating him over five centuries ago. The people supported the action.

In another story, the Church of the Resurrection has refused to answer any E Mails including those of the underwriter concerning Alberto Cutie and Ruhamma Cannelis. In closing, the majority of people polled in Miami think that Mr. Ratunuman is right.
