It came to the attention of the underwriter about the cancellation of the upcoming game between Manchester United and the Indonesia All Star due to the recent bombings at the Ritz Carlton in Jakarta.
Manchester United deserves praise for conveying their condolences to the families of victims of such infamy. United also deserves praise for protecting its players and staff. I am also sending my condolences as well as a condemnation of those who managed to destroy the possibility of a beautiful match.
What can a bunch of cowards achieve by blowing up a hotel which leads to the cancellation of a friendly match? They have destroyed the happiness of people who love sports especially soccer including the team from Old Trafford.
It appears that these people with the bomb do not have a life except for making others including sport lovers miserable. It appears that in an earlier life, the cowards who committed this act of infamy were never lovers of any type of sports.
At the present time, there is anger in my heart for what has happened to the people in Jakarta including the people who love soccer. There is anger in my heart for those who want to mix sports and politics.
While the cowards can kill a game, they cannot kill a spirit that loves football [soccer]. There are more people who love sports than the «fools on the hill» who cannot see beyond their own twisted agenda.
The time has come for the sports world to unite against all form of hatred. The sports world should say «No» to all forms of hatred and adopt the anthem «All You Need Is Love».
In other words, get high on sports [including soccer] and say no to negative influences of all types.
