Maria Lourdes is a famous singer, actress, humanitarian, and model who is an example of US Latin entertainment in the world. She was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Cuban parents and eventually moved to Miami Florida.

She is also one of the few artists in the world who possess the four spheres of beauty. I am referring to external, internal, professional, and spiritual. She has helped in many causes such as doing a concert for Zunnette Rodriguez.

Zunnette Rodriguez was a girl who had problems at birth secondary to the lack of oxygen in her brain. Ms. Rodriguez needed treatment and this treatment was very expensive. Maria Lourdes was able to raise money for the treatment of Ms. Rodriguez.

Maria Lourdes is also a recording artist who released the album “Sin Genero” [All of The Musical Genre] in which she interpreted various songs in distinct rhythms. The majority of the songs were composed by Maria Lourdes, and Roberto Hernandez with the participation of Jorge Aronte as an arranger.

Other songs in the CD “Sin Genero” such as “Dejame Darte Un Beso” [Let Me Kiss You], “Angel Prohibido” [Prohibited Angel], “Ense~name” [Show Me], Move, “Voy A Decirles” [I Will Tell You], “Te Enga~ne” [I Lied To You], “Que Le Voy A Hacer” [What Will I Do To You?], “No, No, No” are songs that have dealt with the different phases of love such as the desire to be with someone, the desire to break up, and the frustrations of love.

“Move” and “No, No, No” are other songs that deal with the negative aspect of finding and retaining true love. I remember that she recorded another song which was in another album called “El Chico De Los Ojos Verdes” which was another song that dealt with love.

“Los Chicos De Los Ojos Verdes” is a song in which the woman looked at a man with such eyes and felt a sense of peace and relaxation.

Her song “Navidad” or Christmas made the underwriter return to an earlier stage when it comes to celebrating Christmas including visits to St. Nicholas, the Nativity scene, and all of the other aspects associated with Christmas. The song about Christmas also reminded the underwriter of Christmas trees, as well as visits with family and friends.

She also composed and interpreted a song for the Virgen de la Caridad [Virgin of Charity] which was also a call for those who want to help improve the life of the people of Cuba including those who are called the Damas De Blanco [Women In White].

Maria Lourdes also works as a member of the chorus and a model for the programme transmitted on the US Latin Station Univision called “Don Francisco Presenta”. She is one of the reasons why the underwriter watches “Don Francisco Presenta”. Maria Lourdes has a charisma and talent that very few artists posess.

Maria Lourdes will be an artist who will transcend generations and deserves to be heard.
