Chelsea FC has just signed Nemanja Matic from the Slovakian football club MFK Kosice. The deal is a four year one and is worth 1.5 m pound sterlings.

A comment on BBC 606 asked «Who is this guy?» The answer is simple.

Nemanja Matic is a Serbian football player who is a midfielder. He started his career in the Serbian and Slovak Clubs such as Radnicki Obrenovac, Crvena Zvezda, FK Partizan, Jedinstvo Ub, Kolubara Lazarevac, and MFK Kosice before signing with Chelsea.

He has scored 7 goals within 130 appearances.  He has also debuted in the Serbian National Team in the under 21 category as well as the National Category. It is hoped that Mr. Matic will be able to perform in Chelsea after his recovery from a fracture of the fifth metatarsal of his right foot.
