In a previous Now Public article, the underwriter wrote that Guatamalan Singer Songwriter Ricardo Arjona cancelled his concert for Cuba which was to take place in the Malecon for 2010. He states that Juanes «plagiarized» his idea of the concert.

The people have been talking about the Arjona and Juanes rivalry with people taking sides with Juanes in the majority of the cases. It must be remembered that while both artists have sold their records in Miami Florida, the majority [at least the ones that I have talked with] preferred Juanes over Arjona.

During the weekend, the underwriter thought of an idea for Juanes and Arjona. Maybe they should do a mega concert together in The Malecon with various artists invited including the ones invited from Juanes side.

It would be interesting and could also be recorded in order to promote a mega concert. Whether this could happen remains to be seen.
