To all, as an American, one educated in Valencia, Venezuela, by the most generous and wisest teachers, I wish to give to the beautiful people of Venezuela, a small token of our great American heritage and blessing. Now is the time for you to fight for yourselves and your children and the generations to come. Be not afraid, your cause is just.
