Robert Elstone who is the Chief Executive Officer for the Everton FC has expressed his interest in acquiring US Football [Soccer] and LA Galaxy Superstar Landon Donovan for his team. It appears that Donovan may start playing for the team as soon as January 2009.
It appears that the news is being greeted with interest among Everton supporters who are afraid that their team is three points above relegation. The word relegation in football [soccer] is a word that cannot be taken lightly taking into account teams that have suffered this fate barely come out.
The talks between Donovan and Everton would be a loan from LA Galaxy until the end of the Premier League season. After the end of the season, Donovan will probably continue to practice until the first game against England at the 2010 World Cup.
