Martin Allen and Cheltenham Town have decided to part company by mutual consent. This is part of a breaking news story which is the final of a one and a half year dispute in which Mr. Allen was accused of racial misconduct.

The League Two Club eventually cleared Mr. Allen after an internal investigation and the Gloucestershire Police will not take further action. He thanked the club and his legal team for their support and is willing to move «forward with life with my reputation intact and head held high».
