While there have been people in Hollywood who are notorious for their bad behavior, Kanye West has taken bad behavior to a new level. He has become an embarrassment to Hollywood, the African American Community in the USA, and to the country in general. The following is proof of his bad behavior evolving into terrible behavior.

In the month of September 2009, Taylor Swift [who is a Country Music Singer] received the MTV Video Music Award. It should have been her day or night of glory. During the acceptance speech of Taylor Swift, Kanye West went to the stage and interrupted her. He continued to insult Taylor Swift and embarrassed Beyonce.

The end result was that Kanye West was rejected by the audience. Beyonce and Taylor Swift later embraced during the awards and Ms. Swift was able to give her acceptance speech with Beyonce. Kanye West was expelled from the awards for his behavior. His past behavior included damaging a photographer’s camera during a fight at Los Angeles International Airport.

In previous award ceremonies, he lost even though he was nominated for many awards. In response, Kanye West blames others and uses the history of «discrimination against African Americans» as an excuse. While there has been discrimination against African Americans and Latins in the past, this is slowly resolving with stars such as Beyonce receiving awards that artists would have only dreamed of decades ago.

Kanye West may not have received any awards because of his attitude and his arrogance. He may have the talent of the world but he cancelled them with his unacceptable behavior. While society at large has decided to ignore his rants, the time has come to take action against Kanye West. How does one take action against such a person who is a disgrace?

The first step would be to ignore Kanye West by not giving him the publicity he needs. If the press were to ignore what he says, maybe the bad behavior may go away or he will lose money. The next step would be a boycott of all Kanye West products. Why do people want to waste their money on an artist whose gift to humanity is to insult people?

The people should stop buying his albums, attend his concerts, and prohibit him from going to any more award ceremonies. The people should stop buying magazines with his name on it. The press should stop interviewing Kanye West and delete him from their magazines and television slots.

The radio stations should stop promoting his music and pressure should be applied to cancel his recording contract. Kanye West does not deserve publicity since it rewards his bad behavior. He deserves to be retired from show business the sooner the better.
