FINALIZATION OF THE PROJECT “VALUES OF LIFE – SPORTS ACTIVITIES AND EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN WITHOUT PARENTS”
Belgrade, 28 December 2009 – Under auspices of Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine Foundation, International Women’s Club and Belgrade Municipality of Savski Venac, the Association of Sports Managers of Serbia presented final events of its’ project “Values of life –  sports activities and education for children without parents” in the premises of Military High School in Belgrade today.  

The aim of this project is to promote sports activities and a healthy way of life among children in three Belgrade ’s Homes for children without parental care – “Jovan Jovanovic Zmaj”, “Drinka Pavlovic” and “Mosa Pijade”. The promoters of this project were the famous Serbian actress Tijana Mladenovic and the famous basketball player Dejan Milojevic.

Around 150 children from these institutions are involved in the project, gaining basic knowledge about different sports, information about healthy lifestyles, and the opportunity to learn more from active athletes.

The organizers of the “Values of life” Project intend to make it a traditional event, with sports camps organized in the famous Serbian mountains and involvement of other homes for children without parental care from all over Serbia .
