US Soccer Federation Wants You To Break A World Record

Are you going to Philadelphia for the 63rd NSCAA National Convention? If so, join the U.S. Soccer Foundation in an attempt to Break a World Record, while also giving back to the community!

On Thursday, Jan. 14, the U.S. Soccer Foundation is sponsoring an attempt to break the World Record for the “Most People Keeping a Soccer Ball in the Air.” The event will be held at 6:00 pm in Exhibit Hall B of the Philadelphia Convention Center and we need your help!

Sign-Up to Participate!

The current World Record is set at 627 people, so the more people who show up, the better – bring your friends, family or anyone else that is capable of juggling a soccer ball! Also, if possible, please bring a ball for this event. The Foundation will collect your ball at the end of the attempt as part of the Passback Program, which redistributes soccer equipment to local organizations in need. So, dig through your closets, basement, garage, etc, find a ball or two you can part with, and come help us juggle!

As added incentive, if you register and participate you are automatically entered into a raffle to win an autographed 2009 Real Salt Lake jersey!

  • Size 5 soccer balls must be used for the World Record Attempt, all size soccer balls are accepted for the donation following the event
  • To qualify towards the total count, you must juggle for at least 10 seconds, using any part of your body except your arms and hands

If you have any additional questions, please contact Sarah Pickens at: spickens@ussoccerfoundation.org
