FIFA announced the end of the sanctions against the controversial football [soccer] player and coach [manager] of the Argentine National Football Team Diego Armando Maradona. In response or in advance of the end of the sanction, Maradona announced the launching of Maradona TV.

According to Maradona himself, Maradona TV will be transmitted via television and the internet. He has announced that Maradona TV will start broadcasting in May or June 2010 in time for the 2010 World Cup. It appears that there is no limit in the desire of a megalomaniac such as this individual.

While Maradona launched Maradona TV, a group of Mexican Businessmen dedicated a new beer «10 Marado» to Maradona. The beer in honour of Maradona is part of a venture of dedicating beer to sports figures. The group of businessmen in this deal once launced «Cerveceria Revolucion» [Revolution Brewery] with Beer dedicated to Ernesto «Che» Guevara and Zapata.

The idea of a beer and TV dedicated to Maradona is laughable but again it appears that the one day champion now coach [manager] of Argentina could care less about his reputation. It is a shame that FIFA did not permanently ban Maradona. FIFA should ban him since he is a disgrace to football.
