Salvador Cabanas who is a striker for the Mexican Football [Soccer] Team Club America is in critical condition after being shot in the head during a dispute at a bar in Mexico City. According to an initial report, the bullet entered the frontal area without an exit.
The intensive care unit of the hospital where he is being treated reports that he also being treated for a heart condition. Mr. Cabanas was conscious and told his wife that the attack was unporvoked.
According to Miguel Angel Mancera [Attorney General for Mexico City], the police have detained two suspects and there is no known motive for why Cabanas was shot in the head. There have been rumours that Cabanas may have died and there have been videos of him after being shot.
It is in the personal opinion of the underwriter that the videos are in bad taste. The underwriter would also like to condemn the shooting of Salvador Cabanas as an attack on those who love sports especially football/soccer.
