Soy hincha de futbol EEUU y Europa [incluyendo CD Chivas USA] y por eso quiero expresar mi solidaridad con mis hermanos americanistas [Club América] por la injusticia cometida contra Salvador Cabañas, su familia, y Club América.

Quiero expresar mi solidaridad con la República de Paraguay y el Equipo Nacional de Paraguay en estos momentos difíciles.

Hasta cuando tenemos que aguantar a los asesinos y delincuentes? Habrá más repeticiones de los que sucedió? La sangre esta  hirviendo en mis arterias y venas por esas noticias. Ojala si los delincuentes reciben su castigo merecido.

The Club America and Paraguayan striker Salvador Cabanas underwent surgery at the Centro de Especialidades Quirurgicas Angeles de Pedregal which is a hospital and trauma centre south of Mexico City.

While the Physicians have been unable to remove the bullet, they know that it is located in the Occipital Lobe of the Head. During a press conference, Dr. Ernesto Martinez did not want to give the prognosis but said that everything depends on «what will transpire within the next 48 to 72 hours».

Dr. Martinez also revealed that there was a severe trauma to the cranium with lesions within the skin of the brain. He also commented that clots were removed and that the hemorrhaging stopped. He also suggested that it is doubtful that Caba~nas could go back to leading a normal life.

The people in Latin America and the world [including the US Latin Community] are praying for Caba~nas, his family, Club America, and the Paraguayan National Football [Soccer] Team.
