The Attorney General for Mexico City identified Jesus N [otherwise known as El JJ or El Modelo] and Francisco N [otherwise known as El Contador or El Paco] as the people responsible for the shooting of Salvador Cabanas.
He also showed a video of what transpired. The bar is called «Bar Bar» and the video showed Cabanas conversing with the bar manager Carlos Cazares Oca~na. Cabanas did not appear to be worried or disturbed.
In a separate clip of the video, the two assailants entered the men’s water closet [rest room] while a woman entered another water closet. One of the assailants conversed with the woman after pulling her arm. Salvador Cabanas then entered the restroom and the assailant followed him.
During the time within the water closet, shots were fired and the employees of the bar helped the two assailants escape in a black van followed by a silver plated car. The police are also interrogating Carlos Cazares Oca~na as well as the security personnel Eduardo Lopez and Heriberto Gonzalez.
The crime committed against Cabanas should not be allowed to go unpunished. The people who committed this act must be punished. It is hoped that this will occur.
