Segun Notimex y Univision, El Dr. Martinez hablo del estado de salud de Salvador Caba~nas. El estado de salud [segun el Dr. Martinez] es «estable» y no hubo evidencia de deterioro despues de los acontecimientos hace 24 horas. Salvador Caba~nas esta recibiendo estimulo cerebral mientras que el hospital recibio de visita la mama de Caba~nas, miembros de Club America, y la Federacion de Futbol Paraguayo.
Alfonso Diaz [quien es el jefe del Servicio Medico de Club America] advertio al publico sobre la necesidad de pensar en la salud de Salvador Caba~nas en vez del aspecto deportivo. El agrego que la vida de Caba~nas esta en «Mano De Dios».
Michel Bauer anuncio que el partido de Club America contra los Indios de Ciudad Juarez para el Torneo Bicentenario 2010 continuara el 31 de Enero 2010 en solidaridad con Caba~nas. El Sr. Bauer anuncio la apertura del Estadio Azteca para el 26 de Enero 2010 a las 1:00PM [Hora de Mexico] con el motivo de solidaridad con Caba~nas.
Dr. Ernesto Martinez has declared that Salvador Caba~nas is in «stable» condition 24 hours after being shot in the head. He also reported that Mr. Caba~nas has not deteriorated further with the bullet remaining inside the occipital lobe.
According to Dr. Martinez, Mr Caba~nas remains sedated and is stimulating his brain. The decision to NOT remove the bullet from the Occipital Lobe has been reiterated. The President and Coach of Club America, Salvador Caba~nas’ mother, and members of the Paraguayan National Football [Soccer] Team were present at the hospital where Salvador Caba~nas is being treated.
Alfonso Diaz who is the Medical Chief for Club America has declared that the life and health of Salvador Caba~nas is in «the hand of God». Mr. Diaz also said that people should not think about Caba~nas resuming his football [soccer] career. He said that the primary goal is «his [Caba~nas’] health.
Michel Bauer who is President of Club America announced that he will open the «Estadio Azteca» at 1:00PM Mexican time so that people can pay homage to Salvador Caba~nas. He also announced that the match for the Mexican Bicentennial 2010 Tournament against Los Indios de Ciudad Juarez will continue on the 31st of January at Estadio Azteca.
Mr. Bauer continued his announcement by saying that the match against Los Indios de Ciudad Juarez will be in solidarity with Salvador Caba~nas.
