The New York Red Bulls [one of the MLS Teams] started their first game against the Lech Poznan from Poland. The game took place in Spain and surprised many of the spectators. During the match, both teams competed for posession of the ball.

The times that Leck Poznan threatened the New York Red Bulls many times but were unable to score a goal. The Red Bulls attempted to maintain momentum and they had the advantage of a strong defense.

Juan Pablo Angel scored the first and only goal of the game for the MLS Team. The team proceeded to maintain the momentum even though Leck Poznan attempted to equalize. Juan Pablo Angel deserves to receive special mention for scoring and maintaining the momentum.
