The Super Bowl XLIV between the Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints began with the Pre Bowl Celebration. The teams were identified by the announcers while they appeared in the field of Sun City Stadium in Miami Florida. Miami Florida was the host city for such a historic occasion that happens once a year.

Queen Latifah interpreted “God Bless America” with a chorus that made many people feel emotional. She interpreted the song from the heart. She was followed by Carrie Underwood interpreting the national anthem of the United States of America “The Star Spangled Banner”.

The underwriter has heard better renditions of the national anthem of the USA than the one provided by Ms. Underwood. In fact, it would have been better if one of the greatest in Texas Music such as Amanda Cunningham or the greatest in Tennessee Music such as Tonya Marie Faris would have sung it.

Amanda Cunningham and Tonya Marie Faris are examples of Southern Singers who know how to interpret the National Anthem of the USA with heart and soul.

Maria Lourdes who is a singer and actress born in New Jersey would have been an excellent example of who could have interpreted the National Anthem of the USA with majesty. Maria Lourdes has the voice of an angel on earth and her interpretation of music is down to earth.

The first quarter began with Indianapolis in possession of the ball and scoring a field goal to the surprise of the Saints. Matt Stover was the intellectual author of the field goal.

Mr. Stover was one of the oldest players in the NFL at the age of 42 and proved that age does not matter. The Saints attempted to recover but appeared to have been intercepted by the Colts.

The Colts were able to master every aspect of the game and Peyton Manning along with Gascon were in control of the situation.

Finally, the Colts scored the first touchdown of the game almost at the end of the first quarter. It appeared that the Colts were leading against a scoreless Saints. The first quarter ended with New Orleans Saints 0-10 Indianapolis.

The commercials between the two quarters ranged from awful to great. The GoDaddy.com was a disaster and in bad taste. The commercial has a woman giving a massage to Danica Patrick. Danica Patrick is famous in the racing car circuit.

The GoDaddy.com commercial would have improved a little with Jessica Simpson giving a massage to Tony Romo and talk sweet nothings to each other. The other proposal would have been to not do the commercial.

The Coca Cola Commercial with the Simpson shows the Billionaire losing everything. In the end, one of the characters in The Simpsons feels sorry for the Billionaire and gives him a Coca Cola and a Smile. The Coca Cola Commercial was great.

The second quarter begins with a field goal from the New Orleans Saints and a struggle for possession of the ball. Indianapolis is still the dominant force. New Orleans used up all of their time outs while the Colts remained with two.

The Saints were able to score another field goal at the end of the second quarter and prove to the world that they are still alive in the Super Bowl. The score was New Orleans Saints 6-10 Indianapolis Colts.

The reporters from CBS Sports did an impressive job in the narration of the game as well as a great Halftime Report. The Halftime Report was sponsored by Doritos. The halftime show sponsored by Bridgestone was witness to a concert by the Who.

The Who is a venerable British Rock Group who has interpreted their past hits. The Who have been and remain one of the greatest groups from the 1960’s. The Who proved the world that they are still a dominant force in the rock world and their rock songs are timeless.

The various generations who were listening to the Who perform on the Bridgestone Halftime Show were celebrating while others were clapping to the rhythm. The song “Who Are You?” was a fresh as it was during the 1970’s.

The underwriter was remembering cruising with his car from Miami to Miami Beach during the 1970’s with the song in the background. The interpretation and the instrumentation were phenomenal. The Who deserve a 100% for their halftime concert.

Leon Medical Center of Miami Florida did a commercial for the Super Bowl and it was good. It concentrated on health and helping people. The rock group KISS did a great commercial for the Super Bowl as well.

The third quarter began with a brawl for the ball between the Colts and the Saints. The referees were unable to break up the fight. The Saints received possession of the ball. The people were witness to the tug of war between the Saints and Colts.

The Saints scored a touchdown and a field goal while the Colts scored a touchdown. Garrett Hartley was the football player who scored the famous 47 yard field goal for the Saints. The third quarter ended with the Saints edging up from behind the Colts. The score was New Orleans Saints 16-17 Indianapolis Colts.

The fourth and final quarter appeared to have been a war of attrition between the two teams. They did not want to concede anything especially in such a close games. The fans of the Colts and Saints were screaming and shouting their support for their respective teams.

The Saints took over at the 41 yard line with one point behind the Colts. The commercials went from good to bad to worse during the fourth quarter. The game resumed and was exciting. It is always said that the best games in American Football are the ones that are too close to call or defy prediction.

The majority of the narrators of the Super Bowl from CBS News predicted an Indianapolis Colt victory but no one thought how the game was going to evolve.

The New Orleans Saints surprised everyone with another touchdown by Jeremy Shockey courtesy of a 2 yard touchdown pass from Drew Brees. The score at 5:42 was New Orleans Saints 22-17 Indianapolis Colts.

The Saints did a conversion which was nullified by the referees. They asked for a review and the result was that the conversion was rewarded for the Saints giving them a 24-17 lead.

The Indianapolis Colts have a history of making comebacks within the fourth quarter. It remains to be seen what will happen and if the game will go to overtime. The Saints are trying to extend the time by preventing the offense by the Colts.

It is the wish of the underwriter that some of the commercials will go away since the game is becoming interesting and with 3 minutes and 24 seconds left. The Colts throw the ball and there is an interception.

Tracy Porter was the Saint who did the 77 yard interception which lead to the touchdown and field goal giving them a 31-17 lead over the Colts. It appears to be the biggest upset in the history of the Super Bowl XLIV. The Saints are not wasting any time in attempting to consolidate their hold on the game.

The Super Bowl is almost over and the TV has another commercial from Budweiser. The commercial is Bud Light and it leaves much to be desired while the Hyundai Commercial was great.

The Colts try to regain lost ground but appears to be too late.
