Chivas In Seventh Consecutive Win

Chivas of Guadalajara defeated their opponent Puebla in a game that racked nerves in Estadio Jalisco located Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. The results were 3 to 2 in favour of Guadalajara and marked the seventh consecutive victory for the first time in its history and that of Soccer.

During the game, Puebla complained that they scored a goal even though it was annulled by the referees.

The event ocurred during the 2010 Bicentennial Tournament to celebrate the anniversary of Mexico’s Declaration of Independence from Spain and the regular games of the Mexican League.

The first half of the game began with Chivas in possession of the ball and game. Adolfo Bautista scored the first goal for Chivas at seven minutes with Puebla remaining surprised. Puebla was unable to reciver within the first twenty minutes.

The game took an exciting turn when the US Latin player for Puebla scored an equalizer at 22 minutes. Both teams were beginning to jockey for position with Puebla needing another point. Chivas needed a win in order to make history.

The first half continued its course with both teams playing an intense football/soccer. The end result was Chivas 1-1 Puebla.

The second half began with Adolfo Bautista scoring a goal at 45 minutes followed by a lightning goal by Xavier Ivan Baez at 48 minutes. Chivas had the advantage of three points to one and total domination of this half.

Puebla refused to concede to Chivas and scored a second goal at 56 minutes. The score was Chivas 3-2 Puebla.  The author of the goal was Uruguayan National Marcelo Palau. Puebla attempted an equalizer.

Roberto Carlos Juarez scored a goal in 86 minutes but was declared invalid by the referees. The last minutes were easy for Chivas of Guadalajara as they played on the way to victory and their place in history.

It remains to be seen whether Chivas will win the Mexican League Games and the 2010 Bicentennial Tournament.
